Terms
What this is
LocLedger is software provided by its operator for a single, named user. It's not a commercial service open to the public. There's no sign-up form, no pricing page, no customer-support hotline, and no SLA.
What you can expect
- The operator runs the software in good faith and patches known security issues promptly.
- Your data stays yours. You can ask for it back at any time, in standard formats.
- If the operator ever shuts the project down, you'll get at least 90 days' notice and a working export.
What you agree to
- You use LocLedger to manage your own clients' loc-care records, not for any unrelated purpose.
- You honor your own clients' privacy: ask before uploading their photos, delete what they ask you to delete, and treat their data the way you'd want yours treated.
- You don't try to extract or share data about anyone other than your own clients.
Limitations
The software is provided as-is. The operator does what they can to keep it reliable, but can't guarantee uptime, backup completeness, or that data won't be lost in catastrophic hardware failure. Keeping a parallel backup of anything truly irreplaceable (long-form session notes, irreplaceable photos) is the user's responsibility too.
Future
If LocLedger ever opens to additional locticians as paying customers, a real commercial Terms of Service will replace this page. Anything you've relied on under these terms will be honored under the new ones.
